Each of these basic anal plugs is contoured in an hourglass shape to conform to anal anatomy. An anal plug designed this way will tend to stay in on its own until you remove it.
The less pronounced flare on the small plug tends to make it less secure than the others. Due to manufacturing differences, the Small/Medium and Medium/Large plugs are a slightly different color.
